La Plata, MD— President Barack Obama has ordered the United States Flag to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
This action is in honor of those American patriots who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland Flag is lowered to half-staff as well, no flag may be higher than the United States Flag.
