On Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 7:51pm, TFC M. J. Pitcher responded to the 21000 block of South Essex Drive in Lexington Park for a reported assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with male victim, 12, of Great Mills who advised he was involved in a physical altercation with a male juvenile, 11, of Lexington Park during the afternoon hours of March 23, 2011. Following information provided by the victim, TFC Pitcher made contact with a male witness, 11, of Lexington Park who provided a similar account of the incident as the victim. Subsequently, TFC Pitcher responded to the 21000 block of Mary Margaret Court in Lexington Park, to make contact with the juvenile suspect, an interview was conducted in the presence of a guardian. Based on statements received, TFC Pitcher arrested a male juvenile, 11, of Lexington Park for Second Degree Assault. The juvenile was released on scene to a guardian pending further action by juvenile services.
