Calvert County Health Department is investigating a case of rabies after a kitten that was that was trapped at the Ford dealership in Prince Frederick in Calvert County on Sept. 8, has tested positive for rabies.
Approximately 17 felines were trapped along with this kitten and investigations are in progress. This kitten is black and white and is less than 3 months old and weighs about 1 to 1 and a half pounds.
Anyone who may have been bitten or scratched by a cat or a kitten at the Ford dealership in Prince Frederick from Sept. 1st through Sept. 8th should contact Sharon Nazarek at the Calvert County Health Department at (410) 535-5400 ext. 422.
