My daughter, with my grandaughter, rolled her SUV in front of her Baptist Chruch on Chancellors Run in Lexington Park after a motorist did a U-turn in front of her. To avoid hitting the blue neon she hit the guard rail and flipped the truck upside down, landing on its roof.
The U-turn motorist left the scene of the accident.
My daughter, Amanda McBride, and Jasmin Nicole, 2 years old, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital but later released.
By the grace of God both walked away with minor cuts and bruises.
An older gentleman pulled my daughter and grandaughter out of the 1999 Lexus, and we would like to thank him for getting them out of the car, as it was smoking, and my daughter was afraid it was going to catch on fire.
