The St. Mary’s County Department of Emergency Services and Technology reminds residents that standard time returns on Sunday (November 2) at 2 a.m. Citizens are reminded to turn their clocks back one hour before going to bed on Saturday night.
Residents are also reminded that as they are turning their clocks back, to take the opportunity to check the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in their homes.
