On Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 4:30 pm TFC McLean responded to Eisenhower Way, Scotland, for a 911 call of an unconscious subject.
On arrival the officer observed the victim, Andrew Joe Donnick, laying on the ground and two subjects administering CPR. Police cars raced through the rain and filled the surrounding lanes in Scotland.
Reverend Donnick was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Preliminarily the cause of death is being ruled as a heart attack; however, Maryland State Police say that Donnick’s collapse was preceded by a physical fight with his neighbor, and the body was taken to the medical examiners office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
