CALVERT COUNTY – The following roads have been closed due to flooding:
Chaneyville Road and South Flint Hill Road, Owings is closed due to flooding.
Bay Ave from 3rd to 7th street, North Beach is closed due to flooding.
Seek an alternate route.
ST. MARY’S COUNTY –
Road update:
- Bayside Road now has one lane open and is passable
- Medley’s Neck Rd. in the area of Our Lady’s Church has been reopened
- Newtowne Neck Rd is reopened and passable
- Friendship School Rd. in the area of Bishop Rd. remains closed.
- Bishop Rd. in the area of Lone Spruce Dr. has been reopened
- Use caution in the area of Hick’s Dr. and Rt. 234 due to a sinkhole
- Maypole Road in the area of Newtowne Neck Road is closed
