Leonardtown, MD The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County have accepted roads in two subdivisions into the county road maintenance system. The roads are in Primrose Park in Wildewood and Ben Oaks subdivision in Mechanicsville.
The roads in Primrose Park are:
• Primevere Road, County Route # 31613
• Tallwood Road, County Route # 31626
• Primevere Street, County Route # 31627
• Larkspur Street, County Route #31628
• Sugar Bush Street, County Route # 31629
• Evening Primrose Court, County Route # 31630
• Marguerite Street, County Route # 31631
• Wild Iris Street, County Route # 31632
• Lilac Street, County Route # 31633
• Foxglove Street, County Route # 31634
The roads in Ben Oaks subdivision are:
• Ben Oaks Drive, County Route # 31622
• Claire’s Drive, County Route # 31623
• Yanak Court, County Route # 31624
• Tomrose Court, County Route # 31625
The county will now be responsible for the maintenance of the roads, including snow removal.
Director of Public Works and Transportation George Erichsen presented the roads for commissioner approval at their April 21 meeting. The decision was unanimous.
