SOLOMONS, MD — Sam Grow has been scheduled to open for Chris Young at the Calvert Marine Museum’s Waterside Music Series at PNC Waterside Pavilion on June 4. Tickets are available now at their website

The local country artist will open up for the chart topping Chris Young and emerging country star, William Michael Morgan, at the Calvert Marine Museum’s PNC Waterside Pavilion, said Traci Cimini, with public relations and marketing at CMM.

“By the age of 16, Sam was playing music anywhere and everywhere he could,” said Cimini. “In a decade’s time, Sam single-handedly built a core-following, playing 250 dates a year all over the country.  His first two independent releases have sold over 30,000 copies and his most recent record charted in the Top 20 on iTunes.”

Proceeds from the Waterside Music Series support the education and preservation efforts of the Calvert Marine Museum.

“This series of events would not be possible without the generous support of many local businesses, including Prince Frederick Ford, Jeep and Dodge, PNC Bank, All American Harley-Davidson, Bozick Distributors, Inc., Tidewater Dental,, Holiday Inn Solomons, Quality Built Homes, 98.3 Star FM, Bay Weekly, Quick Connections, Southern Maryland Newspapers, Isaac’s Restaurant, Papa John’s Pizza, O’Brien Realty, American Eagle Electric, Sherry Carter, United Rentals, Kelly Generator & Equipment, Comcast and Metrocast,” said Cimini.

Gates open at 6 p.m. with food and drinks available on the grounds. Sam Grow will perform at 6:45 p.m. Chairs and coolers are not permitted.
