LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — The Patuxent River Naval Air Warfare Center(NAWC) Aircraft Division recently announced that santa will be making an early flyover of some parts of St. Mary’s and Calvert County.

The announcement came on social media, stating that the big guy will be hopping on an MH-60R Seahawk helicopter in the afternoon of December 22.

The flight is expected to begin at around 1100 hours, and land approximately an hour and a half later.

He will be taking off from “Beach House,” where he will proceed over to the Chesapeake Ranch Estates and Solomons, and will soon return to St. Mary’s to fly over Town Creek, Esperanza Farms, St. Mary’s Airport, Leonardtown, Wildewood, Chancellors Run, Lexington Park and California.

It is believed that he will be flying over to make some last minute checks on who has been naughty and who has been nice in Southern Maryland, before making the trip back on Christmas.
