At 5:42 pm, on Saturday, February 24, TFC Quade and Tpr Pilkerton observed a white Ford Crown Victoria and the driver not restrained by his seat belt. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, Daniel Alan Faucette, 21, of Mechanicsville.
An odor of marijuana was detected emitting from the vehicle. During the course of the traffic stop, A blue book bag containing a small plastic baggie of marijuana, a large plastic baggie of marijuana, a digital scale and an opened box of sandwich bags were found in the vehicle.
Mr. Faucette was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia and transported to the St Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
