Washington, DC – Less than two weeks after being hired by the Trump Administration Anthony Scaramucci is out as White House Communications director. The announcement was made by White House officials late Monday afternoon, July 31.
According to the New York Times, Scaramucciโs apparent sacking came just days after he reportedly when on a cursing jag directed at members of President Donald Trumpโs senior staff. Additionally, late last week Trump hired a new chief of staff, John Kelly.
Scaramucci joins former Press Secretary Sean Spicer and former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus as casualties of the first six months of the Trump presidency.
Kelly has pledged order and discipline within the walls of the White House. Sources close to the story said Kelly requested Scaramucci be removed and Trump honored that request.
