(Update) School evacuated due to gas leak

UPDATE Dec. 7, 8:54 a.m. – Firefighters have given the “okay” for students and staff to return to the school. 

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On December 7 at 8:21 a.m., TheBayNet.com breaking news team reported of a gas leak at George Washington Carver Elementary school of Lexington Park. The school has been evacuated and crews are currently responding to the call.
