Update
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office advises motorists to avoid northbound Three Notch Road in the area of the VFW. The road will be closed to one lane due to a wires downed from the crash. Police are on scene.
CALIFORNIA, Md. – Sept. 5, 10:10 a.m., crews responded to Three Notch Road and By the Mill Road, California for a reported semi-truck crash into a telephone pole. Reports say the truck is on fire and wires are down. Three Notch Road is down to one lane. Crews are on scene and SMECO is en route, use caution in the area.
