WALDORF, Md. — A woman was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 2025, following a crash involving a car and a dump truck in Waldorf, Maryland.

The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mattawoman Beantown Road and Poplar Hill Road. Fire and EMS crews responded quickly and conducted a vehicle extrication to free the trapped woman from the car.

She was transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
