PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — On February 19, 2021 at 5:51 p.m. the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of a serious accident along Route 4 and Sixes Road.


Upon arrival at the scene, units discovered one vehicle which had crashed into a guardrail, leaving the vehicle on its side with the driver trapped.

Chief Holzberger had the command, while Chief Della-Camera led the extrication. The patient was removed from the truck and flown to an area trauma center.


Huntingtown and St. Leonard’s Fire Departments assisted on the scene.
