
WELCOME, Md. – Congratulations to the graduating class of the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy’s Corrections Entrance Level Training Program Session 66, which concluded on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. A total of 14 total correctional officers will be joining the respective Sheriff’s Offices throughout Southern Maryland.
The program requires each Correctional Officer to complete a ten-week Basic Corrections Academy, which exceeds the state minimum for all Correctional Officers working in local correctional facilities across Maryland.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office and St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center welcomes seven new Correctional Officers: Ayodeji “Victor” Agunbiade, Emory Bowling, Christopher Christian, Brandon Daron, Courtney Hume, Kyle McAllister and Jakob Tullos.

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office and Charles County Detention Center welcomes two new Correctional Officers: Korey Collick (pictured third from left) and Michael McCloskey (pictured second from left) to its ranks, upon completion from the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy’s Corrections Entry Level Training Program, Session 66.

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and Calvert County Detention Center welcomes 5 new Correctional Officers: Brenden Bell, Nicholas Morlock, Robert Stone III, Nicholas Sunderland, and Katarina Walker to its ranks, upon graduation from the Southern Maryland Criminal Justice Academy’s Corrections Entry Level Training Program, Session 66.
