Update — The driver of the 2011 Dodge pickup Neal B. Hambleton, 30 of Ruther Glen Va. has been charged with DUI – first offense, concealed weapon while intoxicated, and DUI maiming, he is currently being held at Pamunkey Regional Jail with bond.
The Caroline County Deputy, Deputy H.S. McGhee is currently in Mary Washington Hospital with serious injuries. He suffered a fractured left femur, a fractured right lower leg, a fractured foot and soft tissue injuries. He is expected to undergo surgery.
