We are saddened to announce the passing of Sherry Lynn Jones of Benedict, Maryland, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 58.
Born on May 5, 1968, she was the beloved daughter of Herman and Barbara Ann Passmore. Sherry spent many years working in retail, where she was known for her hard work, kindness, and friendly spirit.
Sherry found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading, fishing, hunting, painting, and working on puzzles. Her hobbies reflected her creativity, patience, and appreciation for the outdoors.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever, including her children, Christopher Wayne Passmore of Benedict, Maryland; Dustin Michael Jones of Lusby, Maryland; and Olivia Marie Norris and her husband, Andy, of Benedict, Maryland. She is also survived by her brothers, James Allen Passmore and Larry Myers. Additionally, she will be missed by her foster parents Anita Myers of Leonardtown, Maryland, Anne Myers of Bonita Springs , Florida, and James Myers of Bonita Springs, Florida.
Sherry’s love, strength, and presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
