UPDATE: Response from bank employee:

“On March 13, we found a skimmer device on our Waldorf drive-up ATM. We have determined that the skimmer was on the ATM for a few hours. We removed the device before the perpetrator returned to retrieve it, and there is no evidence of card or PIN data being compromised.”

Waldorf, MD – On March 13, 2020, officers responded to the Educational Systems Federal Credit Union located at 169A Smallwood Village Center in Waldorf for the report of a skimming device that was located on an ATM.

It is unknown how long the device was there.

Officers were able to obtain an image believed to be the suspect who placed the skimming device on the machine.

Anyone who used this machine on or before March 20 is asked to check their accounts for unusual activity.
