Solomons, MD – The Solomons Offshore Grand Prix, held the first weekend of October in the waterways surrounding Calvert County’s southernmost community, is being hailed as a huge success.
“It was tremendous,” said Calvert County Commissioner Gerald W. “Jerry” Clark. “All the hotels were filled, a lot of hustle and bustle on the island. It was a real good tourism event.”
The event was presented by the Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA).
