At 1:30 am on Sunday, May 28, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle on Route 4 at S. Patuxent Beach Road, California, for following too close. The driver was identified as a 17 year old from Solomons.
During conversation with the boy, an orange pill was observed on his lap. Poison Control was contacted.
The pill was found to be a controlled dangerous substance for which the teenager did not have a prescription.
He was arrested, taken to the Leonardtown Barrack, processed and released to a guardian.
