As part of the update of a coordinated transportation plan for the region that includes Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties, Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland (TCCSMD) and the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) will be hosting the Southern Maryland Coordinated Transportation Planning Workshop on August 28, 2019

This workshop will engage a variety of individuals and organizations that are aware of transportation issues in the region, especially in regard to people with disabilities, older adults and people with lower incomes. This workshop gives an opportunity to the public to voice ideas and learn what is happening in the southern Maryland transit world.

The Southern Maryland Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan helps three southern Maryland counties plan, prioritize and direct regional efforts to coordinate both private transportation providers with public transit providers. The plan is required for certain grants and incorporates these activities into a solid plan.

Opinions and feedback from residents in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties is appreciated.
