St. Mary’s County Government’s Department of Economic and Community Development is hosting two focused business roundtable meetings on April 28 and April 29.
A roundtable meeting for Home Based Businesses will be hosted on Wednesday, April 28 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center on Airport Road in California, MD and members of the Construction Industry are invited to a roundtable on Thursday, April 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center. Both roundtables are free and will offer valuable information and networking opportunities.
Home based businesses face unique challenges and opportunities not usually experienced by larger companies. The Home Based Business Roundtable meeting will give home based business owners and potential owners opportunities to exchange ideas, learn new marketing strategies, discuss scheduling and customer development and network.
This is the second Construction Industry Roundtable and will continue a dialogue on the State of the Construction Industry in St. Mary’s County. John Richards will provide information on a potential Construction Industry Day at St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds and an update on the upcoming Naval Air Station Patuxent River base tour with Delegate John Bohanan will be provided.
