Drug Arrest- On March 4, 2021, Cpl. Nelson assisted on the execution of a search warrant on a vehicle in the area of Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown. A cigarette box was located containing suspected cocaine and a suspected CDS smoking device was located containing suspected CDS residue. Contact was made with the sole occupant of the vehicle, Glenn Rodney Battle, age 34 of Mechanicsville. Battle was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-not Marijuana and CDS: Possession-paraphernalia. CASE# 8433-21

Drug Arrest- On March 7, 2021, Dep. Chase assisted with a vehicle pursuit that originated in St. Mary’s County and ended in Charles County. The passenger in the vehicle was identified to be John Eugene Watts, age 33 of Washington, D.C. Located on Watts was a rubber glove containing a white powdery substance and an additional bag with a white powdery substance was also found. Watts was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-not Marijuana. CASE# 12148-21

Drug Arrest- On March 12, 2021, Cpl. Kerby conducted a vehicle stop in the 28200 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. Contact was made with the vehicle operator, Sandra Lee King, age 43 of Great Mills. King was found to have open warrants for her arrest. King was arrested and upon arrival at the detention center two plastic bags were located in the vehicle floorboard with several capsules containing suspected heroin. King was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-not Marijuana and served the outstanding warrants. Shortly after arriving at the detention center a suspected CDS smoking device was located concealed on King. King was also charged with Possession of Contraband in Place of Confinement. Drug Arrest- On March 13, 2021, a search warrant was executed in the 21600 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park. Located on scene was De Aundre Tyrique Keys, age 24 of Lexington Park. During the search warrant suspected heroin, packaging material, scale, and plastic baggies with white residue were found. A firearm with ammunition was also located. Keys was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute, CDS: Possession-not Marijuana, CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia, Regulated Firearm-Illegal Possession, and Firearm/Drug Traffic Crime. Drug Arrest- On March 22, 2021, Dep. Myers responded to the 21400 block of Abell Road in Avenue, for the reported check the welfare of an individual passed out in a vehicle. Contact was made with Ryan Christopher Miedzinski, age 27 of Avenue. Located on Miedzinski was a plastic bag containing suspected cocaine. Miedzinski was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-not Marijuana. CASE# 15414-21

Drug Arrest- On March 22, 2021, Dep. Schell was in the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, on a separate investigation. While on scene, Joshua Antoine Miles, age 32 of no fixed address, was observed on the property. Investigation determined Miles had previously been served a notice not to trespass. Contact was made with Miles and he was taken into custody. Located on Miles’ person was a glass pipe containing suspected CDS residue. Miles was arrested and charged with Trespassing and CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia. CASE# 15489-21

DUI/Assault/Disorderly Conduct- On March 25, 2021, Dep. Hill responded to the 37700 block of Chaptico Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported vehicle collision. Contact was made with the operator of one of the involved vehicles, Charles Edward Sharp, age 40 of Charlotte Hall. Prior to the arrival of law enforcement Sharp attempted to leave the scene of the accident. Sharp exhibited signs of being impaired and attempted to punch a victim on scene. Sharp was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While Impaired by CDS, and Driving While Impaired by Drugs and Alcohol. Assault- On March 25, 2021, Dep. Bowling responded to the 45700 block of Church Drive in Great Mills, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Fiona Lynn Barnes, age 47 of Great Mills, assaulted the victim by strangling the victim and pushing the victim. The victim had visible signs of injury Barnes was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. CASE# 16102-21

Drug Arrest- On March 25, 2021, Dep. Burgess was in the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, investigating a critically missing person. Dep. Burgess observed an individual matching the description provided. Dep. Burgess attempted to make contact with the individual who proceeded to flee on foot. Dep. Burgess pursued the individual, later identified to be Trenton Aubrey Graves, age 27 of Lexington Park. While fleeing, Graves discarded numerous items. Graves was apprehended and the items recovered. The recovered items included suspected Alprazolam pills, and suspected heroin. Graves was arrested and charged with CDS: Possession-not Marijuana. CASE# 16171-21

Assault/Child Abuse/Violation of Protective Order- On March 25, 2021, Dep. Jerew responded to the 45800 block of Chancellors Run Road in Great Mills, for the reported assault. Investigation determined Edna Renee Lyles, age 34 of Great Mills, assaulted the victim by pulling the victim’s shirt and and striking the victim several times in the face. During the assault, the victim was holding a child who sustained a laceration to their head from the assault. There is an active protective order prohibiting Lyles from contacting the victim by any means. Lyles was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Child Abuse, and Violation of Protective Order. Trespassing/Assault/Drug Arrest- On March 26, 2020, Dep. Kril responded to the 21800 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for the reported trespassing. Contact was made with the complainant who advised Joshua Antoine Miles, age 32 of no fixed address, had been instructed to leave the business throughout the day. Deputies attempted to serve Miles with a criminal citation, however he attempted to walk away from deputies and would not comply with the citation. Miles was advised he was under arrest, at which time he assaulted (kicked) two deputies on scene and ultimately bit a third deputy causing injury. Miles was taken into custody and a suspected CDS smoking device was found on his person, containing suspected cocaine. Miles was charged with Trespass: Private Property, three counts of Assault 2nd Degree, Assault on Police to Cause Injury, CDS: Possession-not Marijuana, and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia. Assault- On March 27, 2021, DFC. Budd responded to 23400 block of Three Notch Road in California, for the reported disturbance. Investigation determined Keith Leonard Mackall, age 57 of Lexington Park, punctured the victim’s vehicle tire with a knife, and pushed another victim to the ground. Assault- On March 27, 2021, Dep. Rycyzyn responded to the 23900 block of Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood, for the reported fight in progress. Deputies arrived on scene and observed Terrence Antonio Queen, age 38 of Lexington Park, agitated and causing a disturbance. Queen was yelling profanity and when instructed to cease his behavior he continued to cause a disturbance. Queen was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Fail to Obey a Reasonable/Lawful Order. CASE# 16433-21
