It was a day for the kids. Parking was at a premium as kids and their parents and guardians packed the grounds of the St. Mary’s County Government Center and the Leonard Hall Recreation Center for the 30th Annual Easter Festival.
The events featured Easter egg hunts for all ages, pictures with the Easter Bunny, amusement rides, live entertainment, arts and crafts, face painting and food vendors.
Net proceeds from the event, and also the Scott Verbic Memorial Golf Tournament, go towards funding the St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks scholarship program.
