States Attorney’s Office needs help finding family members

The St. Mary’s County State’s Attorney’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding family members of decedents for a crime that happened in 1973.

Scherrell Richard Link was convicted in 1973 of 1st degree murder of Shirley Mottler, Douglas Parks and George Pratt. Link was also convicted of attempted murder of William Craig. The State’s Attorney’s Office is attempting to locate any family members of decendents Shirley Mottler, Douglas Parks, George Pratt, and William Craig.
