WALDORF, Md. — Two teenage boys were taken into custody Tuesday evening, July 22, 2025, after Charles County sheriff’s deputies recovered a stolen vehicle in a Waldorf neighborhood.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle around 6:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Hamilton Place. A check of the tags on a KIA Sportage revealed the SUV had been reported stolen earlier in Waldorf, prompting officers to set up surveillance.
Authorities say three males returned to the vehicle shortly afterward. When officers moved in, all three fled on foot. Two 15-year-old suspects were quickly apprehended and charged through the juvenile system. The third suspect, also a juvenile, was identified but not immediately arrested. Charges are pending.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer McCourt at 301-609-3282, ext. 0741.

It sure seems that juvenile crime has radically increased since the law changed less that a year ago. I hope the victims don’t blame the wonderful Demoncrats that enacted the law.
