At 1:25 a.m. on Dec. 12, Officer J. Freeman was patrolling businesses in the Waldorf area when he discovered a shattered window at Simply Wireless at 3235A Plaza Way in Waldorf.
Investigation revealed suspect(s) forced entry into the business and took at least one box of cell phones. The suspect(s) fled through a rear door.
Investigators found the box of cell phones next to the dumpster behind the business.
A representative for the store who responded could not immediately determine if anything had been stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer G. Barnhart is investigating.
