On Dec. 7 at 1:45 p.m., a school resource officer assigned to North Point High School in Waldorf, received a tip through the student crime solvers program indicating a student had marijuana in his possession and was trying to sell it.

Officers located the student, a ninth grader, and found two plastic baggies of marijuana.

The student was charged on a juvenile offense report with possession with intent to distribute drugs. Cpl. C Cusmano investigated.
