The St. Mary’s County Farm Bureau is offering a $1,000 scholarship in remembrance of Farmer Floyd Raley to a student of a Farm Bureau family entering college for the Fall 2009 semester as a full-time student pursuing an agriculture, horticulture, environmental (water, air or soil) or related field of study.
To apply, students must complete and return a application along with a typed, unsigned essay (essays will be reviewed anonymously) on the following topic: Your Thoughts on Sustainable Agriculture.
