Temple Hills, MD – Police in Prince George’s County have a former Crossland High School student in custody following a stabbing that occurred at the school Monday morning, March 20. According various reports, the incident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. in an outside area of the school grounds. The unidentified 18-year-old male student who was stabbed was taken to an area hospital. His injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
The alleged stabber—also 18—who was apprehended by school security officers, has not been identified at this time. A Prince George’s County Police Department spokesman reported that the student was walking with his class to work on a school project when he was confronted by the former student. The two began arguing, leading to a physical altercation resulted in the stabbing.
