LEONARDTOWN, MD – Superintendent of Schools, Mr. J. Scott Smith, announces the administrative appointment made by the Board of Education at its meeting of August 31, 2016.
The Board appointed Ms. Sherry O’Dell as Supervisor of Special Education in the Department of Special Education. Ms. O’Dell holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Towson University and a Bachelor’s degree in education from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She has most recently served as Lead Teacher for Instructional Interventions in the Department of Special Education.
This appointment will become effective Monday, September 5, 2016.
