On Dec. 21, at 1:10 a.m., Tpr. N. Gresko responded to the area of Three Notch Road in California, for the reported welfare check of a possible shooting victim.
A 911 broadcast was made for a silver Toyota Camry on Three Notch Road in the area of the K-Mart Store in California. The caller was advising he had been shot and was trying to get away from the suspect vehicle. Tpr. Gresko following the information from the 911 broadcasts located a silver Toyota Camry in the parking lot of the K-Mart store off Old Rolling Road.
Contact was made with the driver, Tuan Hoang Ngo, 26 of Lusby, and the odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his breath. There was no evidence that Ngo was shot and no damage to the vehicle Ngo was operating.
Ngo was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
