GLEN BURNIE, Md. โ€“ A 66-year-old Glen Burnie man was critically injured Tuesday evening, Sept. 9, 2025, when he was struck by an SUV while crossing 300 block of Hospital Drive.

The crash happened around 7:50 p.m. Upon arrival, crews found the pedestrian in the roadway but not in a marked crosswalk, where a 2018 Toyota RAV4 traveling eastbound in the right lane struck him.

Emergency crews treated the man before transporting him to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he remains in critical condition.

The driver, a 61-year-old man from Pasadena, stayed at the scene.

The Anne Arundel County Police Departmentโ€™s Crash Reconstruction Team is continuing to investigate.
