On January 10, 2010 at 3:16 a.m, Tpr. N. E. Gresko was patrolling east bound on Mechanicsville Road when he initiated a traffic stop in the area of Gardiner Drive in Mechanicsville on a white Chevrolet Cavalier for failing to drive in a single lane.
Contact was made with the driver, Jenna Nicole Kieszkiel, 18 of Mechanicsville and the passenger, Lloyd Morgan Kerr, 20 of Mechanicsville, and a strong odor of alcohol was emitting from the vehicle. While speaking with the driver, Ms. Kieszkie,l an odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from her breath. She was subsequently arrested for DUI.
A search incident to the arrest revealed she was in possession of a multi colored glass CDS smoking device containing Marijuana. Kerr was issued a Civil Citation for possession of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21 and released at the scene.
Ms. Kieszkiel was transported to the Leonardtown Barracks for the DUI processing and then to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
