On Nov. 22, at 8:25 p.m., a male juvenile, 17 of Mechanicsville, was arrested by Tpr. J. Gibson for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.
The juvenile was a passenger in a black Toyota Corolla when they were stopped for a traffic violation. Contact was made with both the driver and the male juvenile passenger and a strong odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. The male juvenile was found to be in possession of a CDS smoking device with marijuana.
He was taken into custody and later released to his mother pending further action by Juvenile Services.
