On June 3 at 1:31 p.m., officers responded to the 11000 block of Teakwood Court in Waldorf for the report of an assault.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who was suffering from severe face and head injuries. The victim said she was assaulted by a male friend at his residence in Waldorf. After the assault, the suspect stole the victim’s car and fled. The victim was transported to Civista Medical Center where she was treated for her injuries.
The suspect, Rashamer Everett, 19 of Waldorf, was located near his residence where he was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and theft.
