TFC Marcus Manning – 2020 Officer of the Year from the Maryland State Police
LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On August 24, 2020, the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County, the Department of Aging & Human Services, and the Triad/SALT Council thanked TFC Marcus Manning for his service and recognized him as the 2020 Officer of the Year from the Maryland State Police.
Triad/SALT is a three-way commitment among local law enforcement, the Department of Aging & Human Services and agencies that support senior citizens, older and retired citizens of our county. Triad/SALT works to improve the quality of life for seniors by providing an opportunity for the exchange of information among law enforcement and older citizens.
St. Mary’s Triad/SALT council educates the public through senior safety seminars with topic including identification theft, telemarketing fraud, defensive driving and emergency preparedness.
