Education Association of St. Maryโ€™s Countyโ€™s Anna Laughlin sends out a big โ€œthank-youโ€ to St. Maryโ€™s County Commissioners Mike Hewitt and Tom Jarboe for their stance in expressing strong support of St. Maryโ€™s County Superintendent of Schools Scott Smithโ€™s position as he made it clear how important it is for SMCPS employees to recover โ€œstepsโ€ next year.

Ms. Laughlin praised the commissioners for their respect and courtesy in addressing this issue at the county commissionersโ€™ budget workshop held March 17.

Note: a public hearing is scheduled for April 14 at Great Mills High School at 6:30 p.m.
