California, MD – On Nov. 20th, 2015, Deputy J. Smith responded to the Best Buy in California, for the report of a theft.
The suspect, James Ray Delahoussaye, age 30, of Lusby, opened sealed merchandise in the store with the intention of using it without paying for it.
He was placed under arrest and a routine search was performed. The search revealed a homemade metal cooking dish, hypodermic syringes, and burnt residue consistent with heroin.
Delahoussaye was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with CDS Possession: Not Marijuana (Heroin), Two Counts of CDS Possession: Paraphernalia, CDS Equipment for Possession/Distribution and Theft Less Than $100.
