Patuxent River Wade-In on June 8 (1 p.m.), located at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum, 10515 Mackall Road, Saint Leonard, MD – Join the community for this annual tradition to wade into the Patuxent River, check water clarity, and raise awareness about the health of the river. Free admission.
Support the Pups with Dinner at Gordys on June 10 (4:30 p.m. to close), located at Gordys, 135 W Dares Beach Rd, Prince Frederick, MD – Enjoy a meal while supporting the Humane Society of Calvert County. Strawberry Full Moon Hike on June 11 (8 to 10 p.m.), located at Gatewood Preserve, Calvert County, MD – Experience the magic of the Strawberry Moon on this guided nighttime hike through scenic meadows and fields. Pitch Card Game The Ridge Lions Club Fundraiser on June 6 (6 to 9:30 p.m.), located at Knights of Columbus Hall, 16441 Three Notch Road Ridge, MD – Beginners, as well as seasoned players, of all ages are welcome. The $10 entrance fee per person allows you to play all night, and you are guaranteed to go home with at least one prize. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a food basket raffle, and more.
