
WALDORF, Md. — Three people were transported to area hospitals, including one by helicopter, following a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Waldorf.
The crash was reported at 1:42 p.m. on April 11, 2026, in the 2200 block of Davis Road. Crews responded for a motor vehicle collision with reports of a person trapped inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel confirmed two vehicles were involved with unknown injuries. Firefighters reported no entrapment upon arrival.
Multiple patients were evaluated at the scene. Two patients were transported by ambulance to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment. A third patient was airlifted by MSPAC Trooper 2 to UM Capital Region Medical Center with serious injuries, including a reported head injury.
Crews remained on scene for an extended period while assisting patients and clearing the roadway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
