It’s a tricky intersection(sarcasm). It requires paying attention to all vehicles regardless of which direction they’re traveling.
Not surprising this happened. St. Andrews Church Rd. is a racetrack. I see people talking on their phone all the time and going well over the posted 50 mph speed limit. Worse is there are few places for LEO’s to safely and effectively enforce the traffic laws. Maybe technology could help! How about SMSCO or MSP take action.
Thats weird because I drive on that road everyday and find that most people annoyingly drive well under the speed limit. However that road is extremely dangerous with very few left turn lanes and no right turn lanes.
