At 1:35 pm on June 27, TFC J. Linger and TFC A. Rossignol arrested George R. Sams, 44, of Mechanicsville, on three outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana, driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and uttering a bad check.
A search incident to arrest revealed percocet pills in his pants pocket. Ms. Sams did not have the pills in the required prescription bottle nor could he provide a prescription for the pills.
Sams was charged by TFC J. Linger with possession of percocet. Mr. Sams was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held on no bond.
