At 8:10 a.m. Jan. 3, Officer J. Dodge responded to Melwood Thrift Store at 3301 Plaza Way in Waldorf for the theft report after an employee discovered the store safe was missing.
The store was secured Jan. 2 at 7:55 p.m. and there were no signs of forced entry.
