Annapolis, MD – On March 7 at approximately 1:55 p.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at Franklin’s Toys located on Forest Drive in Annapolis. An unknown male suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. The store was unoccupied at the time of the robbery with the exception of the store employees and the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Through investigation, robbery detectives were able to positively identify the suspect. A warrant was obtained charging the suspect with this robbery. The suspect is currently incarcerated in Washington, DC on an unrelated robbery. He was identified as Harold Leon Wright, 54 of no fixed address.
