TRAFFIC ALERT – Portion of Route 231 shut down

At 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5 the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office issued a travel advisory – Route 231 at Hallowing point Park is shut down due to unsafe road conditions.

Authorities further advise thatCalvert County Sheriff’s Office deputies & Maryland State Police troopers are responding to multiple accidents and disabled vehicles. Motorists are asked to drive slowly, and use headlights and wipers.
