On January 30, 2019, around 10:45 a.m. Company 2 was alerted to a serious accident in the area of Hallowing Point Road and Stafford Road.
Engine 22 arrived first on the scene first and located multiple passengers in the white vehicle who were trapped. Chief 2-A, Roger Rearden, also arrived and assumed the command of the accident.
With the help of Huntingtownโs Squad 6, those passengers were extricated from the car. As seen in the pictures provided, the roof and doors were taken off the vehicle.
Two patients were flown to an area trauma center by Trooper 7. PFVFDโs Engine 21 handled the landing site.
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On Monday, Jan. 30 at 10:51 a.m. crews were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Route 231 in the area of Stafford Road, Prince Frederick.
Reports say the crash left one person trapped and several people injured. A medevac has been requested for transportation to a nearby trauma center.
Route 231 in the area of Stafford Road was closed for approximately one hour while crews operated.ย
