Two Flown To Trauma Centers After Collision In Prince Frederick

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Two people were hospitalized Monday afternoon, July 7, 2025, following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 4 and Fox Run Boulevard in Calvert County.

Troopers from the Prince Frederick Barrack responded to the scene at approximately 3:06 p.m. Investigators said a Toyota Corolla Cross, traveling north on Route 4, attempted to turn right onto eastbound Fox Run Boulevard but crossed a curbed median and struck a Toyota Camry stopped in the westbound lanes.

Two Flown To Trauma Centers After Collision In Prince Frederick

The Camry’s male driver, 68, of Woodbridge, New Jersey, was trapped and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. He was flown by Trooper 7 to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

The Corolla’s female driver, 66, of North Beach, Maryland, was transported by Trooper 2 to UM Capital Region Medical Center in Largo.

The crash remains under investigation by Maryland State Police.
